What on Earth is going on?

In the past few years, our world has been experiencing a shake up like never before. One could certainly say, the Lord has paid His land a Judicial visit. Or are these shake-up's as a result of the end-time events predicted in the bible or both. These are difficult times. Financially and Enomically, nations, Organisations and Individuals are struggling and at breaking point. Many Organisations in Britain have become cosmetic Surgeons with surgical knives to cut back fatty financial burdens including jobs.
Where would you turn for help and reassurance? Do you believe God is faithful to see His own through this difficult times? How long would God continue to sustain us? Or may be all of these do not have anything to do with God?
